Four-part program on IslamóThe Doctrine; The Life of the Prophet and the Faith; The History and Culture; The Arts and Sciences. Some of the most eminent scholars of contemporary Islam are responsible for the script and the text is illustrated with over 300 slides of the greatest masterpieces in Islamic art and architecture. Other photographs include important sites and subjects from all over the Muslim world. The musical accompaniment was composed and performed by Salman Shakur, the world famous Iraqi lute (oud) player. The combination of these elements has resulted in an audio-visual program on Islam from which a real understanding may be gained of the beliefs, culture and history of the Islamic world.
